This policy forms part of DCX Bullion (Pty) Ltd’s (“DCX Bullion”) Terms and Conditions.
DCX Bullion is committed to operate the business in compliance with the terms of the Consumer Protection Act and all policies are subject to the applicable law.
This Refund Policy must be read in conjunction with the DCX Bullion Terms and Conditions, Shipping and Delivery, Cancellation and Return policies and all definitions and interpretations must be read as defined in the Terms and Conditions Policy.
1.1. In the event of cancellation of an order by you in compliance with our Cancellation Policy, we will refund you the Goods at the amount that you paid to us, regardless of any price fluctuations in the price of the Goods, and will apply deductions for any costs incurred up and to that point in procuring the Goods based on your order, including, but not limited to a cancellation administration fee as described in clause 1.2 below.
1.2. On cancelation of order and request for refund, you will be charged a cancellation and administration fee as follows:
1.2.1 On all Goods purchased at a value up to and including R1,000,000.00 (one million rand) you will be charged a cancellation fee of 2,1% of the amount paid by you and an additional R150 flat administration fee.
1.2.2 On all Goods purchased at a value over R1,000,000.00 (one million rand) you will be charged a cancellation fee of 2,1% of the amount paid by you only.
1.2.3 These cancellation and administration fees as set out in clauses 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 above will be deducted from the amount refunded to you and the difference between the amount that you paid and the cancellation and administration fee, and will be paid to you via EFT into your bank account as per the bank account details provided by you.
1.3. In the event of cancellation of an order by you in compliance with these terms, we will refund any money due to you as described in clause 1.2.3 above, within 30 days of receipt of your request for cancellation.
1.4. This paragraph does not affect your rights in the event that specific Customised Goods are faulty or of a substandard quality. For such instances please consult our Return Policy posted on our Website.
1.5. You are responsible for the cost of returning the Goods or Customised Goods. We have no obligation to refund to you, your cost of re-packing and returning the Goods or Customised Goods.
1.6. If the Goods or Customised Goods you return, show any sign of damage or loss due to your checking, then we shall be entitled to deduct the cost from your refund money.
1.7. In the instance of Customised Goods, which include but are not limited to specifically customised designed products, packaging, boxes and containers, you will receive a final sign-off approval request from us, prior to processing your order. You can cancel your order up and until receiving this final sign-off approval request, but not after having signed-off and approved your order. Should you cancel after final sign-off approval by yourself, you are liable for all costs incurred, including but not limited to design and manufacturing costs up and until that point.
1.8. In the event of cancellation of an order of Customised Goods by you in compliance with these terms, we will refund any money due to you, deducting the cancellation administration fee as stipulated in clause 1.2 above, and any additional expenses incurred in procuring the Customised Goods according to your order up and until the point of cancellation, as stipulated in clause 1.7 above, within 30 days after receiving the returned Customised Goods.
1.9. In the instance of the return of Customised Goods and if we agree that the Customised Goods are faulty, we will refund the cost of return carriage.
1.10. Should you return Goods that have clearly been melted, tampered with or modified, distorting the DCX Logo or Imagery on the Goods, we will not accept it us untampered Goods and will not refund the Goods.

1.11. In the instance of cancelling your MMC Membership:
1.11.1 we will deliver to you all accumulated one ounce medallions, either Gold or Silver medallions as per your Membership package.
1.11.2 The delivery fee will be for your account and can be deducted from any funds you have available on your Membership number through your monthly membership fees.
1.11.3 Any funds allocated to bullion will be refunded to you at the spot price of the bullion on the day of receipt of your cancellation notice to us, after the deduction of a cancellation fee of R150 and any applicable delivery fees, and will be paid into the bank account provided by you, within 7 (Seven) working days after termination of your membership.
